According to a report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel the Dolphins cut offensive linemen Joe Berger and linebacker AJ Edds to make room for offensive linemen Ryan Cook and tight end Dante Rosario.
Cook has started 40 NFL games and has started at all 3 positions; guard, tackle, and center. Although, Cook hasn't been a regular starter since 2008. Rosario spent last year in Carolina and followed John Fox to Denver where he was cut over the weekend. With the additions of Rosario and Yeatman the Fins have upgraded their tight end position dramatically in the past 24 hours. And adding Cook to the o-line gives the coaching staff some valuable depth as Cook can back-up at all 3 offensive line positions.
