Jags To Release QB David Garrard

The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly going to release QB David Garrard. Garrard, drafted in the 4th round of the 2002 draft has been the team’s starting quarterback since 2005. For his career, Garrard has thrown 89 TD, 54 INT, 16,003 yards passing and a passer rating of 85.8. He also has 1746 rushing yards with 17 TD.

Now the question is, will the Dolphins be interested? If this were at the beginning of training camp I don't thnk there would be a question you get in the running for him. But now, the pre-season is over, Henne had a good pre-season and has earned the respect of his teammates. Stat wise there is no doubt Garrard has been the better player. But I think at this point you don't upset the chemistry that has been built on offense. Sink or swim, it's on Henne.
