Prediction of the 53 Man Roster

Today at 6pm the Dolphins have to have their 53 man roster set. There really aren't many tough decisions to be made and I expect a possible trade to be made as this front office has been known to do that in the past. If Philip Merling gets sent somewhere today for an offensive linemen or tight end I would not be shocked at all. Anyway, I will take a stab at predicting the Final 53 for the Fins.

That's how I see it, we will find out today though. Some thoughts, I think Will Allen will be cut today, BUT if he re-works his contract he could be brought back in place of Nolan Carroll or Tyrone Culver. I think Jon Jerry survives based only on the fact he was a 3rd round draft pick only a year ago and this front office doesn't want to admit failure this early. Philip Livas would be great to keep around but he is a one-trick pony and we can't waste a roster spot on him not to mention other than the one punt return he has done nothing on special teams in 4 preseason games. Lousaka Polite should be worried today because this offense doesn't really use or need a fullback, especially a mediocre one, so if the coaches feel Charles Clay is ready, Polite could be gone today. Although I think he will hang around based on he is an ex-Cowboy and well, we love ex-Cowboys.

Come here all day for the latest on which players have been cut by the Dolphins
