Thanksgiving Day Prediction: Somebody's Three Game Streak Will End

First of all, I would like to wish all of our readers a very Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with joy and your belly filled with turkey and pumpkin pie! One way our day can be filled with joy (at least for most of us) is if the Dolphins continue their recent resurgence. This will be the 5th meeting between Miami and Dallas on Thanksgiving Day and the Dolphins hold a 3-1 edge in the previous 4 games. The Phins and Cowboys both come into this game riding a 3 game winning streak. It obviously will end for somebody. Both have beaten Buffalo and Washington while the Cowboys other win came against Seattle and Miami's against Kansas City.

There has been a lot of talk about Dolphins QB Matt Moore recently. Talk that maybe he can be the guy, the QB for the future. There is no doubt he is better than Henne, but that's not saying much. I'll reserve judgement until I see him play well against better teams. He can start this week. Dallas will be the best team the Dolphins have faced since the 3 game streak began. Dallas defense is the 10th ranked team in the NFL compared to Washington (14th), Kansas City (23rd) and Buffalo (26th).

Dallas also has the 6th ranked offense, compared to Buffalo (14th), Washington (24th) and Kansas City (26th). Hot and cold Tony Romo as been hot during this streak and has not thrown a pick during it. Moore has 1 pick during the Phins streak.

This game will come down to two things: Miami's offensive line play and the Dolphins defensive backfield being able to shut the Cowboys passing game down. I think the Cowboys will be able to put pressure on Moore and Romo will make plays. The Dolphins will not be able to shut them down like they have their previous 3 opponents. So, the 3 game streak comes to an end for Miami as well as the streak of not giving up a touchdown for 12 quarters.
