Over the past few weeks, I have been tracking the progress of a few of the college QB's expecting to be available in the 2012 draft. Robert Griffin III was one of those young QB's I was tracking and he won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. Griffin easily beat out Stanford's Andrew Luck. USC's Matt Barkley finished 6th in the voting.
Drafting one of these young QB's is probably nothing more than a pipe dream for the Dolphins now that they have discovered how to win again. They are currently sitting in the 9th spot and unless they revert to their losing ways of the first half of the season, they will likely fall farther down the line. With so many QB needy teams drafting in front of them, it will take a big time trade to get one of these guys.
