Dolphins have eyes for 3 Packers assistants

Mike Trgovac
Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post is reporting that Joe Philbin has targeted 3 Green Bay Packers defensive coaches he would like to bring to Miami. They are Winston Moss (linebackers coach/assistant head coach), Darren Perry (safeties) coach, and  Mike Trgovac (defensive line coach.)

Volin is also reporting that as long as Mike Sherman doesn't get the Tampa Bay head coaching position he is the leading candidate to be the offensive coordinator for the Dolphins.

  1. Interesting...the Packers defense sucks. Why would he bring their assistants?

  2. Defense sucks because of players, not coaches! And did the defense suck when they won the Super Bowl just last year? They let Nick Barnett walk to Buffalo, that was what killed their defense this year. Only 5 teams gave up FEWER points than Miami this year. You or me could call the plays and that group will be fine. Just fine!

  3. Olivia numbers are lying my friend...did u forget the pats game the cowboys game.. The second pats game the chargers game. Anytime we played great O our d completley fizzeled specially down the stretch. Not mention we dont have a second pass rusher, specially with JT retired. Koa misi is good run stuffer but he cant rush the passer on a 3-4 d thats crucial. Our safety play is incinsistant at best. Mainly our competition should be Brady and twice D failed miserably.
