Prediction: Dolphins Send Rex and the Jets Home for the Winter

The Jets come into Miami having lost their last 2 games and are barely alive for a playoff spot. In the first meeting between these 2 teams back in October, won by NY 24-6, Matt Moore was making his first start as a Dolphin. At that point, he was still learning, getting to know the offense and his teammates. It wasn't a pretty game for him. He threw 2 picks, including one that Darrelle Revis returned 100 yards for a TD. Moore has turned things around since that game.

There are some that think this is a "U-Haul" game for the Dolphins, that they just want to get it over with and get out of town. I disagree. To start with, there are jobs on the line for some. Some are in contract years. And of course there is Jason Taylor, who is retiring after this game. Don't think he doesn't want to go out a winner. And don't think the Dolphins wouldn't love to knock the Jets and their loud mouth, lard ass coach out of the playoffs.

Reggie Bush will miss this game due to a knee injury, so it will be on rookie Daniel Thomas to carry the load today. He has shown flashes that he is capable of doing so. Matt Moore would also like to prove that he deserves a shot to come back as the starter next season. I think the Dolphins will be more than up to the task today.
