Blayne Beal the associate athletic director of  Texas Tech is reporting that Jim Turner has left the program to take the offensive line coaching position with the Miami Dolphins. Now listen to his whirlwind story. Jim Turner was the offensive line coach at Texas A&M with Mike Sherman and once Sherman was fired, Turner was also on the open market. Texas Tech comes calling and Turner signs on to be their new offensive line coach. But before ever coaching a game at Texas Tech he is now gone! Mike Sherman gets the Dolphins offensive coordinator position and tells Joe Philbin he should hire this Turner guy, so Philbin reaches out to Turner. And today Turner told Texas Tech he is leaving and accepting the offensive line coach job with the Miami Dolphins.
