Per ESPN: Peyton Manning cleared to play NFL football

Next Stop Miami?
Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that the doctors have medically cleared Peyton Manning to resume his NFL career. Two doctors, including the one who performed the surgery have said the stability in Peyton's neck would allow him to play this Sunday as long as the nerves in his neck regenerated to a satisfactory performance level. This is the first step in returning to play, it doesn't mean Peyton is out of the woods yet but it is a giant first step in the right direction. This news couldn't come at a better time for Manning as he is about to be released by Indy and hit the open market. If healthy and a free agent Peyton Manning will be the biggest named free agent in NFL history and could be set to receive a record breaking contract. The Miami Dolphins are said to be one of the teams interested in his services.  CLICK HERE to read more about this news.

  1. That's interesting after all the back and forth talk recently about whether he'll retire or not. might be bad news for Flynn though. It might drive his price down a bit.
