Garrad having Knee Surgery; Out 2-4 Weeks

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times is reporting that Dolphins QB David Garrard recently underwent minor knee surgery and will be sidelined for a while from what league sources are telling him.

UPDATE: Jesse Alger of Miami Dolphins.com is reporting that Garrard practiced Wednesday Night. Thursday's practice was closed to the fans/media. This gives us a bit of a timetable that "IF" this story is accurate when the surgery took place.

UPDATE #2: Adam Schefter has now weighed in with a report.

UPDATE #3: Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reporting if this knee injury keep Garrard down for a while the Fins can cut him before Week 1 and save $2.25 million with his salary.

UPDATE #4: Jeff Darlington of NFL.com is reporting that he got a text from David Garrard and can confirm that Garrard will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a knee injury and there is no timetable for his return.

Update #5: Jay Glazer is reporting that he has talked to Garrard and that David is having his knee scoped tomorrow and will be out 2-4 weeks. This is just a "wear and tear injury" and nothing happened to cause it.
