Saturday Morning Dolphins Scrimmage Notes

The Dolphins held their first scrimmage this morning. It had to be moved up an hour because of possible weather conditions in the area. Here are some "unofficial stats" from the game.

Tannehill: 10-13, 114 yards, 1 TD
Devlin: 8-10, 107 yards, 0 TD
Moore: 10-20, 65 yards, 1 TD
Garrard: 9-17, 57 yards, 1 TD
Legedu Naanee 5 receptions, 38yds, 1 TD
Anthony Fasano 3 receptions, 39 yds, 2 TDs

According to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel he believes looking beyond just the numbers Ryan Tannehill had the best day out of all of the QB's. One big mistake was made by Matt Moore. Who in the "2 minute drill" on 4th down spiked the football to stop the clock. Obviously he forgot it was 4th down. Major brain fart there. Others on the scene have reported that the "no huddle" offense the team is running this year was very fast and crisp with getting the plays in, getting up to the line, and their execution of those functions.

Other news of note was defensive linemen Tony McDaniel is wearing a hard cast on his right hand. That can't be good. And some of the new guys like BJ Cunningham and Marcus Thigpen had rough days which isn't helping their cause any.
