The Fins had a nice win last week on the road to open the season vs a decent Cleveland team and now they look to keep the road victories coming at Indy. If Miami could open up 2-0 with two road! That would be huge and a great way to start the season. This weeks game won't be easy but it is winable.

WHEN INDY HAS THE BALL: The Dolphins need to put Luck on the ground its plain and simple. The Colts offensive line isn't great and Miami's front 7 is very good and possibly could be great. Wake, Vernon, Jordan, Starks, Odrick, and Soliai must bring the pressure all day on Luck and not let him be comfortable in the pocket. The Colts running game took a blow with Vick Ballard blowing out his knee the other day. Ahmad Bradshaw has been limited all summer and now much take an increased workload. I don't see Bradshaw being a factor this week. TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne...can Miami cover these two outstanding WR's? We will see but when its all said and done it will come down to can Miami get to Luck, can they rattle Luck, and can they sack Luck!

WHEN MIAMI HAS THE BALL: Usually after Week 1 too many "absolute statements" are made based off one game. YES, Miami struggled running the ball vs the Browns but the Browns have a great Front 7 on defense. A lot of teams will struggle running vs them. I think Lamar Miller gets is going this week. The Colts defense isn't nearly as good as the Browns. Also, I think way too much was made of Mike Wallace's comments after last weeks game. Should he have said what he But it wasn't as bad as the media blew it up to be either. Last week Wallace was facing Joe Haden an elite NFL CB, this week he gets Vonta Davis, nuff said. Wallace will have a much better game this week. The guy I am keeping an eye on though is Charles Clay. Clay had a nice little game last week and if he can follow it up with a similar performance it will rest the nerves of a lot of Dolphins fans when it comes to the tight end position. I hope he follows up last weeks performance with a solid outing today. The Colts defense isn't awful but it isn't anything special either. Miami needs to finish drives with touchdowns this week and win the time of possession battle to keep Luck on the sideline.

So, who do I think will win you ask. I think this is a tight game that will go right down to the wire. If it were in Miami I would pick the Dolphins to win by a seven to ten points. The fact the game is in Indy and Miami is playing its second straight road game while Indy has its second straight home game does factor into this a little. I think Miami holds on late to win MIAMI 23  INDY 21

  1. Your prediction last week was off by CLE field goals. Hopefully your not off by the same amount this week lol.

  2. All of a sudden Miami's big bad tough schedule doesn't look that horrible anymore. Atlanta looks beatable, especially being in Miami. Don't think they'll win in New Orleans but Baltimore and Buffalo in Miami are certainly winnable. They could go to New England with a 5-1 record.
