Reshad Jones Suspended for 4 Games

Dion Jordan will have company at his house watching the first 4 Dolphins game this year. Now Dolphins Safety Reshad Jones has also been suspended 4 games for failing a PED test according to organization. This leaves the Dolphins very thin at the safety position. Don Jones is now the listed starter and the Fins can slide Jimmy Wilson over to the strong safety spot, but expect Miami to hit the waiver wire ASAP to find some warm bodies.

While this and the Jordan suspension are not Joe Philbin's fault, someone is going to have to take the fall for this train-wreck of a team eventually. If Miami gets off to a slow start in the regular season I would not be surprised at all to see Philbin let go of his duties come late October or early November. Would it be fair; no not at all. But it might be needed.

  1. Don Jones? I think Wilson will move to SS and then Taylor will be starting nickel. They've been working the rookie Aikens at SS so I guess he'll back up Wilson until Jones returns. And don't forget about Micheal Thomas.
